NEWARK, N.J. (WCBS 880) — Authorities on Thursday identified a man who was found shot to death on a hiking trail in New Jersey last week as a New York City resident.

The body was discovered by several hikers at Eagle Rock Reservation near the West Orange and Montclair border around 2 p.m. on March 4.
The victim, who has since been identified as 31-year-old Kelsey Steels of New York City, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made and police have not identified any suspects in the case.
