NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was shot in the face and wounded on the FDR Drive in Manhattan on Wednesday night, police said.
The 25-year-old man told police he was sitting in his Audi, near E. 25th Street in Kips Bay, when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to police.
It's unclear if the man was pulled over or driving at the time he was shot around 11 p.m.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to his mouth, according to police.
He drove himself to Bellevue Hospital, where he was in stable condition, police said.
The man's car was riddled with bullet holes on its driver's side, according to police
Police believe the shooting may have been targeted.
No arrests have been reported.
