NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for a man they said assaulted a 70-year-old woman and shoved her to the ground during a dispute in Queens last month.
At approximately 8:15 p.m., on Monday, June 27, officials said the woman was involved in a verbal dispute with the suspect in the rear of 7812 35th Avenue in Jackson Heights.
The conflict escalated, and the suspect forcibly threw her to the ground before fleeing on foot, according to authorities.
The victim sustained injuries to her elbows and knees and was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition.
