NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a man who slapped an MTA conductor so hard across the face that his glasses flew onto the tracks.

The NYPD released surveillance images over the weekend of the suspect wanted for the attack last Thursday evening in Jackson Heights.

The victim, a 26-year-old man, was on duty at the Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street station around 7:25 p.m. when he was assaulted, police said.

The suspect slapped the conductor across the face, sending his glasses onto the tracks, according to cops.

The victim suffered dizziness and swelling to his right eye. EMS treated him at the scene.
