NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a woman who allegedly tried to kidnap a 6-year-old girl from a subway station in Upper Manhattan.
The NYPD released images Wednesday of the woman they’re searching for in connection with the attempted kidnapping at the 207th Street station in Inwood on July 29.
The girl was with her 36-year-old mother around 12:30 p.m. when the woman grabbed the girl and tried to flee the station with her, according to the NYPD.
She was unable to leave with the child and ultimately boarded a downtown A train, police said.
The girl was not physically injured and was evaluated at the scene by EMS.
