Man slashes good Samaritan's face after attempted intervention in argument on Brooklyn subway

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who slashed a good Samaritan in the face after the concerned commuter intervened in an argument on a Brooklyn subway train Wednesday.

The 44-year-old man tried to break up a dispute between two unidentified men on a southbound C train near the Clinton-Washington Avenue subway station around 9:50 p.m., according to police.

One of the arguing men slashed him in the face before exiting at the Franklin Avenue station, officials said.

Emergency responders brought the victim to Kings County Hospital Center.
