
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance footage on Monday of a man who is wanted in connection to a broad-daylight attempted rape that occurred in Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon.
It happened at approximately 4:30 p.m., when the suspect made his way into a building in the vicinity of Seventh Avenue and 49th Street in Sunset Park.
According to officials, the man approached a 67-year-old woman, displayed a pocket knife, and attempted to rape her. He then fled on foot to parts unknown.
The victim sustained a minor laceration and EMS transported her to an area hospital in stable condition.
The suspect is described as having a shaved head and was last seen wearing a white tank top, black shorts, black sandals, and black sunglasses.
