NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was stabbed at an upper Manhattan subway station on Sunday night, police said.
The stabbing unfolded at 8 p.m. on a southbound 1 train platform at the 191st Street station in Washington Heights, according to police.
Two males got into a dispute, leading to a physical altercation in which one of them was stabbed with a sharp object, police said.
Police weren't immediately able to confirm early reports that the victim is 14 years old.
The victim was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital. His condition was unclear.
The suspect fled the area with other people, police said.
