NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect who they said stabbed a man in the stairwell of a Bronx subway station Monday night, police said.
The attack happened at around 11 p.m. in the stairwell of the B and D lines at the Fordham Road station after the 49-year-old man refused to give the suspect money, officials said.
According to police, the suspect stabbed the victim in the left arm with an unknown object.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
There have been no arrests made and an investigation remains ongoing.
