Cops said the incident happened around 10:40 p.m. when the victim was approached and stabbed by an unidentified attacker.

The suspect later fled on foot, authorities said.

The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and is expected to recover.

The stabbing came on the same day that a 40-year-old Asian woman was killed after she was shoved in front of an oncoming subway train at the Times Square station.
