
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a man who they say randomly stabbed a man in the buttocks on an East Village street on Tuesday.
At approximately 11 a.m. the suspect approached the 57-year-old man and stabbed him in the buttocks with an unknown object in front of 85 Avenue A.
The suspect fled southbound on Avenue A on foot, police said.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen wearing a blue hat, blue hooded sweatshirt, tan pants, and white sneakers. Police believe he's between 40 and 50 years old.
