NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police released photos on Tuesday of a suspect wanted in connection with the stabbing of a man in the lower back in October.
The attack occurred on Oct. 22 at around 5:45 p.m. when a 31-year-old man was walking near 713 8th Avenue in Manhattan, police said.
According to police, the victim was approached by an unidentified man who stabbed him in the lower back.
It was unclear what prompted the attack or whether it was random.
The suspect fled westbound on West 45th Street to an unknown location.
The victim sustained a severe laceration and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.
