NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A man was taken into custody on Saturday night after stabbing three of his family members inside of a Queens home and then barricading himself with a knife.
At 8:38 p.m., police responded to a home located at 133-43 Lefferts Blvd. in South Ozone Park where a crime was in progress.
Upon arrival, officers discovered three people stabbed. A 62-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach and shoulder; a 52-year-old woman was stabbed in the stomach and neck; and a 28-year-old man suffered a laceration to the hand.

Authorities said that the 28-year-old refused medical attention, but the other two victims were transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and are in stable condition.
Sources familiar with the case said that a male suspect, 31, was barricaded with a knife when police arrived.
Police took the 31-year-old into custody.
While officials are not sure of the exact relationships, police said that all four people involved in the stabbing are related. It was not immediately clear what prompted the violent attack.
The investigation is ongoing.
