NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who stole more than $17,000 worth of rings from a West Village jewelry store last month.
The man stole from Versani, a jewelry store on Bleecker Street near Grove Street around 2:10 p.m. on Feb. 14, officials said.
A store employee was helping another customer, when the suspect grabbed three rings worth $17,400 from the open display case and fled, according to authorities.
No one was injured during the robbery.
