Frank Minaudo, a 66-year-old from Fort Greene, is suing the Sunrise Assisted Living facility in Sheepshead Bay for the deaths of his parents, Mario, 90, and Marie, 86, according to the New York Post.

Minaudo filed two lawsuits, one for each parent.

The suit references disgraced former governor Andrew Cuomo’s order for nursing homes to readmit residents who were still contagious with coronavirus in order to free up hospital beds.

Minaudo says the nursing home chain didn’t have space for adequate social distancing and was irresponsible to adhere to Cuomo’s policy.
