
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man stabbed a woman multiple times in an unprovoked attack on a Brooklyn D train last week, the NYPD said Thursday as they released images of the suspect.
The 25-year-old victim was on a Manhattan-bound train entering the 55th Street station in Borough Park early last Thursday when she was attacked.
A man came up to her just after 1:50 a.m. and stabbed her in the torso and shoulder, causing multiple lacerations, police said.
The victim got off the train at the 36th Street station in Sunset Park and sought help.
EMS transported her to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, where she was in stable condition.
The suspect remained aboard the D train and hasn’t been seen since.
