NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man wanted for attacking a woman in an attempted robbery on a Brooklyn street last week, authorities said Tuesday as they released a photo of the suspect.
It happened at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, at the B10 bus stop in front of 1117 McDonald Ave. in Midwood, the NYPD said.
According to officials, the suspect approached a 58-year-old woman and pushed her to the ground, punched her multiple times in the face, and attempted to steal her property.
The suspect fled on foot, traveling on McDonald Avenue towards Avenue H.
EMS transported the victim to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, gray pants, and black sneakers.
