Man wanted for filming up woman's skirt on Manhattan subway escalator

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released photos of a man wanted for the unlawful surveillance of a woman at a Manhattan subway station on Thursday.

At approximately 11:25 a.m. on Oct. 23, a 32-year-old woman was riding an escalator at the Lexington Avenue-53rd Street station when she was approached from behind by the suspect, authorities said.

According to officials, the suspect allegedly used an electronic device and placed it beneath the victim's skirt. The suspect then immediately fled the location.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The suspect was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, dark colored pants, black shoes, carrying a blue bookbag.
