NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police are searching for a knife-wielding man who they say raped and robbed a woman at a Queens business last week.

The NYPD released footage Wednesday of the suspect they’re after in last Thursday night’s horrific sex attack in Murray Hill.

The 37-year-old victim was inside of a commercial building in the area of 162nd Street and Northern Boulevard around 10 p.m. when the man pulled a knife on her, police said.

He raped her and then stole cash and other valuables from her before fleeing on foot, according to police.

The victim was transported to New York-Presbyterian Queens, where she was listed in stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
