NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a man wanted for arson after he allegedly lit several fires outside the same Brooklyn location over the last month.

The first fire was set near 100 Ralph Ave.—located in the vicinity of Jefferson Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant—at 11:25 p.m. on Dec. 6. Police said that the man intentionally lit the fire before fleeing the scene.

The firebug returned to the same spot at 1 a.m. on Dec. 18 and started another blaze, before coming back yet again at about 1:24 a.m. on New Year’s Day to set a third fire at the same location.

No injuries were reported in association with any of the fires, police said.

Law enforcement released a surveillance image of the suspect on Sunday obtained from the Dec. 6 incident and described the man as being between the ages of 25 and 30, 5 foot 10 inches tall and about 190 pounds.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and gray and white shoes, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
