NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD released an image Tuesday of a man wanted for shoving a woman at a Bronx subway station earlier this year.

The 63-year-old victim was leaving a northbound 1 train at the 231st Street station around 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, when the man pushed her onto the platform, police said.

She suffered various injuries in the fall, including to her face, wrist and ribs, according to police.

The suspect—who didn't say anything during the unprovoked attack—fled the station before EMS arrived and treated the victim at the scene, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
