NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- The NYPD is searching for a man in connection to four Bronx robberies in which the victims were stabbed, punched or threatened at knifepoint.
Police released images Tuesday of the suspect they're after in the robberies, three of which happened on June 5. The majority of the muggings happened within a few blocks of St. James Park.
The spree began around 12:30 a.m. that day, when the thief targeted a 27-year-old man at East 192nd Street and the Grand Concourse in Fordham Heights. He stabbed the victim in the arm with a knife, then stole his wallet and cellphone before fleeing, police said. The victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

Later that day, a 52-year-old man was standing a couple blocks away at 71 East Kingsbridge Rd. around 1:15 p.m. when the same robber punched him in the face and stole his wallet and cellphone, police said. The victim declined medical attention.
About two hours later, a 37-year-old woman was robbed at 84 West Fordham Rd. in University Heights. The thief simulated a firearm as he stole her wallet and cellphone, police said.
The suspect has also been linked to a robbery about three weeks later, on June 21, in Kingsbridge Heights. A 25-year-old man was at West 192nd Street and Davidson Avenue around 3:30 a.m. when he was robbed by a knife-wielding man who stole his wallet and cellphone.
