NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Monday released a photo of a suspect wanted in a string of violent jewelry robberies that occurred in the Bronx, authorities said.
According to officials, from April to August, the man and other suspects used a firearm and pepper spray on the victims, or physically attacked them, before robbing them.
The thieves stole a chain valued at approximately $17,000 as well as six additional chains, a diamond ring, and a bracelet.
The suspects also stole a man's car, as well as a cellphone and wallet, police said.
