NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- The NYPD has released video of a man wanted for a robbery inside a Manhattan train station that ended with the victim warding him off with a punch to the face.
Police reports say on Aug. 11 just before 5 p.m., a 74-year-old man entered the turnstile in the Avenue of the Americas & West 42nd Street subway station on the B line.
At that time, a man pushed the victim and pinned him from behind against the high turnstile, police said.
The suspect then grabbed about $600 from the victim's pocket, but then the victim turned around and punched the suspect in the face, according to the NYPD.
The suspect then fled in an unknown direction, police said.

The person police are seeking is a man with a medium complexion approximately in his 40s, 5'6", 145 lbs., and was last seen wearing a multi-colored shirt, blue jeans, black hat, eyeglasses and a blue surgical mask.
