NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating after a man ripped a boy's yarmulke on a Brooklyn subway train last week, authorities said.
It happened aboard the northbound 3 train at the Franklin Avenue station near Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights on Monday, November 28, at 7:45 p.m., police said.
According to officials, the suspect approached a 10-year-old boy and snatched his Kippah off his head and fled.
The boy was not injured as a result of this incident.
