NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage Wednesday of two men wanted in a violent home invasion robbery at a Staten Island home last week.

Just after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, the 42-year-old victim was at his residence in the vicinity of Richmond Avenue and Wilson Avenue in Eltingville when he heard a knock at the door, officials said.

As the victim opened the door, the suspects allegedly forced their way inside the home and immediately demanded money. During the confrontation, one of the suspects reportedly struck the victim in the head with a blunt object, authorities said.

The suspects successfully stole approximately $500 in cash and a set of keys from the residence before fleeing the scene.

One suspect was observed walking with a cane. He fled the location in a 2001 GMC Denali with New York license plate number LXS4877, traveling southbound on Richmond Avenue. An individual remained in the vehicle and acted as a getaway driver, according to police.

Another suspect fled on foot, traveling northbound on Richmond Avenue to parts unknown.Surveillance footage from the scene shows the two men who entered the home dressed all in black.
