NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man whipped out a gun and got into a shooting stance on a Queens subway platform, alarming nearby riders, police said Wednesday as they search for a suspect.

The NYPD released images showing the man they're after in last Tuesday's rush-hour incident, which is being investigated as a case of menacing.

The suspect brandished a gun around 5 p.m. on the northbound E platform at the Sutphin Boulevard–Archer Avenue station in Jamaica, police said.

While holding the gun, he stood in a shooting stance on the platform, causing public alarm, according to cops.

No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported.
