
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police are looking to identify a man with hammers accused of threatening a worker at a Hell's Kitchen 7-Eleven while shoplifting early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 12:30 a.m., the suspect took store merchandise from a 7-Eleven located at 555 West 42nd St. and attempted to exit without paying, officials said.
When confronted by a store employee, he brandished two hammers and swung them in the direction of the worker before fleeing, police said.
Authorities described the suspect is described as having a straightened perm hairstyle and was last seen wearing a long black jacket, and carrying two hammers.
