Man, woman shot in separate incidents at NYC bar, restaurant just before indoor dining shut down

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man and a woman were shot in separate incidents at a bar and restaurant on Sunday, just before the city shut down indoor dining, officials said.

At around 10:15 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in the chest during a dispute that occurred inside No Bull NYC, a bar and lounge located on Flushing Avenue near Vandervoort Place in East Williamsburg, police said.

The victim was taken to Woodhull Medical Center in stable condition.

About an hour earlier, a 56-year-old woman was shot through the right arm and struck in the chest while standing in front of Dallas BBQ located on Parsons Boulevard near 89th Avenue in Jamaica, authorities said.

According to police two men had been arguing before the shooting.

The woman, who officials say was possibly an innocent bystander was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.

Starting Monday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued a shut down indoor dining in New York City due to a resurgence of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations.
