NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials launched an investigation after a man's body was found hanging from a fence at a playground in Brooklyn Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Police said at approximately 7:20 a.m., the unidentified man was discovered hanging from the tall fence at the Power Playground located at the corner of Utica Avenue and Avenue N in the Mill Basin neighborhood.

The man, who appeared to be in his 30s, had one end of a rope tied around his neck while the other end was tied to the fence, according to the NYPD.
An investigation is ongoing and autopsy will determine how the man died, officials said.
