NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A trio of thieves broke into a sleeping woman's Midtown East home and stole electronics, cell phones and cash, the NYPD said Thursday.
The 23-year-old woman was asleep inside her apartment near East 52nd Street and 1st Avenue in Turtle Bay around 6 p.m. on July 7 when she woke up and discovered three men had broken in through the front door, police said.

The men fled the apartment with electronics, phones and an unspecified amount of cash, the NYPD said. The woman wasn't physically hurt during the robbery, police said.
One of the suspects was wearing a white and blue striped T-shirt with the letters "GSRD" and the phrase "Uniform of the free" emblazoned on it, according to police. He was also wearing pink shorts, a black hat, a black and white mask and black and yellow gloves.
The second suspect was wearing a red and grey Nike jacket, black jeans, red and white sneakers, a grey hat, and a grey face mask.
The third suspect, meanwhile, was wearing a black T-shirt with a photo of a bird on it, black shorts, black sneakers, a black hat, black gloves and a black and white face mask, the NYPD said.
