
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance footage on Friday of a masked man wanted for robbing a Long Island City Chase bank in broad daylight last week.
It happened just before 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, when the suspect entered the Chase Bank located at 24-16 Queens Plaza South and passed a note to a teller demanding cash.
According to officials, the suspect took approximately $2,000 and fled the location on foot traveling westbound on Queens Plaza South to parts unknown.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
