VIDEO: Men impersonate NYPD police officers, rob man, 50, on Bronx street; flee in white car

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Monday released video footage of two suspects they said impersonated police officers during a robbery on a Bronx street in June, authorities said.

According to officials, at approximately 3 a.m. on Sunday, June 19, the two suspect approached a 50-year-old man in front of 261 East Kingsbridge Rd. in Fordham Manor, and identified themselves as police officers.

The suspects demanded drugs and money from the victim and chased the victim who surrendered an unknown amount of money.

The suspects fled in a white vehicle.

No injuries reported and an investigation remains ongoing.
