NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two suspects in a pair of apparently unprovoked attacks on men in their 60s in Queens and the Bronx in recent weeks.

The NYPD released images of the suspects Tuesday as they investigate the assaults, which aren't believed to be connected.

Last Friday night, a 66-year-old man was walking on a sidewalk at 74th Street and 37th Road in Jackson Heights around 10:55 p.m. when a man punched him in the chest.

The victim declined medical attention, while his attacker fled the scene on foot, police said.

In the Bronx assault, a 67-year-old man was walking down a sidewalk at Webster Avenue and East 168th Street in the Concourse Village section on the evening of July 19 when he was punched in the face by man.

The suspect fled on foot, and the victim declined medical attention.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
