NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for two suspects in a pair of purse-snatching robberies out of Brooklyn in which one victim was pushed down a flight of stairs.
The NYPD released images Tuesday of the two men they’re searching for in the robberies, which happened just blocks apart in Sunset Park on the nights of Oct. 1 and Oct. 16.
In the first robbery, a 48-year-old woman was at 760 59th St. around 9 p.m. when she was approached by the duo, who rode up on a black and blue motorized scooter and pulled a gun on her, police said.
They then pushed her down a staircase before fleeing on the scooter with her purse, according to police.
The victim was treated at the scene by EMS and didn't require hospitalization.

About two weeks later, a 27-year-old woman was in front of 714 58th St. around 9:30 p.m. when she was approached by the men on the scooter.
They struck her on the left hand with an unknown object and snatched her purse, then fled westbound on 58th Street on the scooter, police said.
EMS transported the victim to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in stable condition.
