NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – New video shows men taunting and hurling insults and profanity at NYPD officers in a police vehicle in Manhattan this week, according to a police union.
The Police Benevolent Association tweeted out the two-minute video on Friday. It was taken at W. 155th Street and Amsterdam Avenue in upper Manhattan on Tuesday, according to the New York Post.
"Listen to the hate and harassment directed at these two @NYPD30Pct Neighborhood Coordination Officers," the PBA tweeted. "Why? No reason apart from the uniform."
The video begins as a man with a loudspeaker asks an officer inside the vehicle for their badge number and calls the officer a "b****" and a "dirty "motherf***er."
A small toy pig was also placed on the hood of the SUV by someone, the video shows. "That's a pig, that's a gift for you, b****," the man says.
Other people can be heard chanting the anti-police slogan "F*** 12" nearby.
"The people don't want to see you here, b****. Get the f*** out! Move!" the man with the loudspeaker says before the SUV pulls away.
No arrests were reported, according to the Post.
The events leading up to the encounter weren't immediately known.
