“I am done Sunday night. Monday, first thing in the morning, I will be taking myself down to 5000 Pearl St., where I will be bringing my release papers,” Cohen said, giving the address for the Southern District of New York courthouse.

“I’m extremely thankful that I will be able to celebrate Thanksgiving out of my home, out of my apartment here in the city with my entire family,” Cohen added.

Cohen was given a three-year sentence after pleading guilty to tax evasion and campaign finance violations. He served 18 months under house arrest in his Upper East Side home after he was released from prison during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The disbarred lawyer had made headlines after his house arrest arrangements allowed him to dine out at white-tablecloth restaurants in Manhattan and meet up with Kanye West. Cohen said he had two hours to spend outside a day, and would typically go to the gym or walk around Central Park.

He also finished his book and started a podcast while in home confinement.

“I’m just trying to keep myself busy until I’m free to start my life over again,” Cohen said.

Cohen, among other guilty pleas, admitted to illegally sending money to Trump’s alleged lovers Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal in attempts to keep their relationships private.
