NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Wednesday released photos of a mini bus whose driver beat a man with a metal pipe after a crash in Brooklyn last month.

Just before 12:40 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, the mini bus was in the vicinity of Flushing and Tompkins avenues in South Williamsburg when it abruptly stopped causing a a 64-year-old man's vehicle to collide with it, officials said.


After the crash, the driver of the mini bus repeatedly struck the victim with a metal pipe throughout the body, cops said.

The victim suffered cuts to the head and arm.

The driver then fled in the white colored mini bus southbound on Tompkins Avenue to parts unknown.

The victim transported himself to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull in stable condition.
