NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage on Thursday of a man wanted for allegedly picking up and tossing a subway rider onto the tracks in an unprovoked attack at a Bronx station earlier this week.
It happened just after 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April, 28 at the East 149th Street subway station.
According to police, a 39-year-old man was on the northbound 6 line platform when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect picked the victim up and threw him onto the roadbed. As the victim attempted to return to the platform, the attacker proceeded to kick him back onto the tracks, cops said.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.
The attacker fled the location on a northbound 6 train to parts unknown. He was last seen wearing a black sweater, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.
