MISSING: Bronx girl, 14, 'believed to be endangered,' may need medical attention

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a 14-year-old Bronx girl who may be endangered and in need of medical attention after she went missing Thursday morning.

Melissa Gonon was last seen at her home on Kingsbridge Avenue, near W. 230th Street, in the Kingsbridge section around 8:39 a.m. Thursday, according to the NYPD.


New York state issued a missing child alert Friday that says Gonon is "believed to be endangered" and may be in need of medication.

She is believed to be on foot, according to police.

The NYPD described her as Hispanic, 5 feet tall and 150 pounds.
