NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A missing CUNY law school student is being sought after police found his phone on a street in Hell’s Kitchen on Jan. 7, his family and police said Tuesday.

According to PIX 11, Jordan Taylor's family is worried after his brother Ali Taylor said that the 29-year-old wallet was found on West Street, close to the Goldman Sachs building, with cash and credit cards still inside.

"My brother was going to CUNY law school," his brother told the outlet. "This was his first semester. He was a little stressed out about finals. We were trying to be supportive."

Jordan Taylor had been living in a family apartment in Queens while he attended law school. Police said he disappeared after leaving his apartment on Jan. 8 around 5:30 a.m. He was last seen wearing a black coat, black pants and black Vans sneakers.

Taylor was captured on surveillance video leaving the Hustle Barbershop on Hillside Avenue in Richmond Hill on Jan. 6 just after 5 p.m.

"He seemed a little off," barber Rafael Padilla told PIX 11 Monday. "He didn’t let me give him a full haircut. He didn’t wait for the haircut. He said he had to go. I asked the boss what to do. He said, ‘Let him go,’ and he stood outside for like five minutes."

Al Taylor said his mother was able to track the 29-year-old's whereabouts by checking his phone records.

According to Taylor, the records show that between 9 p.m. and midnight on Jan. 6, Jordan was in the vicinity of Times Square and the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

"Maybe he was meeting someone," Al Taylor added.

His phone was found on Jan. 7, just after 1:30 a.m., not far from the Q nightclub on 8th Avenue and West 48th Street.

When Taylor’s mother tried to find her son through his phone on Jan. 7, "We tracked it to 54th Street, which is the police precinct. 306 West 54 Street. "The phone was there but he was not."

Jordan Taylor had previously frequented the club, and his brother noticed that he continued to get emails from them.

The club had made news last year after patrons were allegedly targeted by a robbery ring as they were leaving. However, there isn't evidence yet that Jordan Taylor visited the Q on Jan. 6.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
