NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Montana man who allegedly shoved police officers with a metal barricade during the Capitol riot was arrested at JFK Airport on Saturday, prosecutors said Monday.
The FBI arrested Isaac Steve Sturgeon, 32, at the airport on charges including obstruction of justice and obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York said Monday.
Sturgeon traveled to Kenya on Jan. 24 with plans to return to the U.S. on April 5, but Kenyan authorities deported him after the FBI issued a warrant for his arrest on Feb. 5, prosecutors said.
Photos released by the FBI allegedly show Sturgeon on the grounds of the Capitol wearing a green jacket, a green scarf and a grey hat.
Sturgeon and several other Trump supporters used a metal police barricade to shove officers during the riot, according to prosecutors.
Sturgeon lives in Dillon, Montana and owns a lawn care business, prosecutors said. His attorney information wasn’t immediately available Monday.
