NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — More Pride flags were destroyed outside the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village Thursday as police search for three suspects in a similar incident at the location last weekend.
Around ten flags — all transgender Pride flags — were found broken and torn outside the fence at the historic Stonewall National Monument at Christopher Park, photos obtained by WABC-7 show.
Meanwhile, the six-color rainbow Pride flags were unscathed.
It's the latest incident at the historic location as the city marks Pride Month.
In Saturday's vandalism, three men were walking through the monument, which encompasses the park and is operated by the National Park Service, shortly after 3 a.m. when they broke multiple LGBTQIA+ Pride flags displayed on the fence, according to police.

The suspects fled on foot after damaging the flags, police said. They were last seen headed eastbound on Waverly Place.
The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force said it is investigating that attack, but it is unclear whether this second act of vandalism is being investigated as well.
