NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Wednesday released photos of a man wanted for assaulting an on-duty MTA train conductor at a Bronx subway station over the weekend.
The incident occurred on Saturday, May 16, at approximately 9:17 p.m. aboard a northbound 6 train stopped at the 3rd Avenue-138th Street Station.
According to authorities, the suspect approached the 47-year-old conductor and demanded that the train doors be opened. The suspect then punched the conductor in the face before fleeing the station on foot in an unknown direction.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the injured conductor to Montefiore Westchester Square, where he was treated and listed in stable condition.
