NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — An MTA employee was struck with a glass bottle at a Queens subway station earlier this month, and police released photos of a suspect on Sunday to aid in their investigation.
At about 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 15, police responded to a report of an assault at the Jamaica-179th Street subway station in Queens.
A 54-year-old male MTA employee was on the platform and on-duty when an unknown woman approached him and hit him with a glass bottle, police said.
The MTA worker sustained minor injuries to his back, and refused medical attention, authorities said.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
