VIDEO: MTA worker punched, kicked during dispute inside Harlem subway station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD on Thursday released surveillance video of a man wanted in connection to a violent attack on an MTA employee during a dispute inside a Harlem subway station last week.

The assault happened at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 23, on the mezzanine level of the 148 St. - Harlem station, police said.


According to officials, an unidentified man engaged in a verbal dispute with a 32-year-old male MTA employee when the suspect approached the victim and punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground.

The suspect then proceeded to kick the victim about the body while he was on the ground before fleeing the station on foot to parts unknown, authorities said.

The victim sustained bruising and swelling and was transported by St. Luke's Hospital in stable condition.
