SEA BRIGHT, N.J. (1010 WINS) – A New Jersey man was arrested after he allegedly posed as a teenager to get two girls to meet him with the plan of sexually assaulting them, prosecutors said.
Nathan Cohen, 27, posed as a 17-year-old boy and exchanged sexually explicit images and videos with the 13-year-old girls then arranged to meet them in person, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
Cohen was taken into custody after a police officer checking on a running car parked on a dead-end street in Sea Bright early Monday morning found him in the back seat of the vehicle with his arms around the girls, prosecutors said.
He faces charges of first-degree kidnapping, second-degree child luring, third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree possession of child pornography and third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact.
Investigators said they're seeking additional information about Cohen's activities. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective Michelle Tucker of the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Special Victim's Bureau at 800-533-7443 or Sea Bright Police Department Detective Sergeant Richard Huegel at 732-842-0010.
