PATERSON, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A 20-year-old woman who went missing after telling family members she was on her way to Brooklyn last week has been found safe, according to a report.
Nyrah Barner Curry is back with her family in Paterson, New Jersey, ABC7 reported. Police and her family members didn't immediately provide any additional details about how she was located.
Curry told family members she was heading to a party in Brooklyn on Feb. 18, NJ.com reported.
Her father, Kevin Barner, told the outlet he and other family members hadn't heard from her since then.
"She loves Facebook, Instagram and [other] social media and would normally be posting but she hasn't," Barner told the outlet.
Family members tracked her phone and discovered it was in New York after Curry left Paterson, the outlet reported.
In an interview with ABC7, Curry's mother, Claurine Curry, said she believed someone had taken her daughter.
"Whoever has her, just let her go," she said. "That's it, that's all we're asking. Just let her go."
