NYC SHOOTINGS: Man, 32, killed on Bronx street; teen boys gunned down at Bronx park, Brooklyn gas station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man was fatally shot outside a public housing complex in the Bronx on Monday evening, as shootings at a Bronx park and a Brooklyn gas station also wounded two teens, police said.

The 32-year-old man was gunned down just before 7 p.m. outside 2791 Dewey Ave. at the NYCHA Throggs Neck Houses.

NYPD officers responding to a 911 call found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head and a pool of blood on the sidewalk lead into the housing complex.

EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi but he couldn't be saved.

He was later identified as Trent Jackson, of Parkchester, the Bronx.

Two hours after that shooting, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the stomach shortly before 9 p.m. inside Crotona Park, police said.

EMS and the NYPD responded to the area of 1571 Fulton Ave. The teen was transported to Jacobi and was expected to survive his injuries.

Several hours later in Bedford-Stuyvesant, a 15-year-old boy was shot around 3:20 a.m. at a BP gas station at 1381 Atlantic Ave.

The teen suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach. EMS transported him to Maimonides Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim was not cooperating with investigators at the hospital, according to police.

No arrests have been reported in the three shootings.
