NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Bronx teacher has been charged for allegedly sending lewd pictures of himself to two 16-year-old students and groping one of the teens at school, police said.

Alexander Guzman, 26, a teacher at the Bronx School for Law, Government & Justice, sent the dirty pictures to the teens via Snapchat, police said. He also would repeatedly tell the teens they were “pretty” and “had a nice body,” the Daily News reported.
Guzman also groped one of the students on school grounds, according to police.
Guzman has been charged with disseminating indecent material to minors, forcible touching, sexual misconduct, aggravated harassment and harrassment.
A city Department of Education spokeswoman told the Daily News that Guzman was removed from classrooms as soon as the allegations were made against him.
“These are deeply disturbing accusations and this teacher was immediately removed from the school,” the spokeswoman reportedly said. “The safety of our students is our top priority and we have stringent protections in place to immediately address any allegation of impropriety.”
